The multiplier event of the DiTravet (Digital Transformation for VET) project was held in Campobello di Licata, hosted by the Istituto d’Istruzione Superiore Saetta e Livatino.
The main objective of the event was the dissemination of the project’s results and the dissemination of the issues investigated by the consortium.
During the event, putting themselves on the line, students and professors from the institute were involved, tackling issues that are increasingly relevant and divisive. The workshop included a debate on the influence of social media with the focus in the educational sphere and a brief mention of Google’s advanced search and the use of search engines in school activities. These were just some of the topics addressed by the project but were chosen to involve as many of the project stakeholders as possible.
The event was attended by more than 40 students who actively contributed to the debate.
These are the events that make us realise how necessary it is to address these issues with the students and teachers who face the new challenges of digital transformation every day.
